We carry a music collection that starts in 1920 (Yes we carry classical music too). From Big Band to Swing, Oldies to current Top 40, Country, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, (multi-cultural), Kids Music and more. Also included in our music collection you with find ethnic music from different countries throughout the world., and Christian music is available too. All of our music has been screened for lyric content.

With a music library that continues to grow every month, there truly is something for everyone.  The music for your special event will be customized just for you. Do you have a special request?  If we don't have it, we will get it!  Just ask us when you book your event. 

Most DJ's belong to music services that send them a new CD or downloads every two weeks.  They come with 30 songs on each (surely there aren't 60 new and popular songs every month, and the DJ does not get to choose what songs he/she gets.  This means when they tell you they have 30,000 songs, you'd be lucky to recognize even a half a percent of them.

A True Family Affair has a unique collection.  Since we personally screen all of our music, we also personally choose all of our music.  To date, more than 85% of our songs have actually been requested at different events. No matter what your event, you will get the opportunity to pick out some songs in advance, as well as request songs right on the spot.  When our clients choose songs, it helps us build our music collection based on what you want to hear.  We believe that you will find our music collection actually quite impressive. We even carry one of the largest private collections of Christian music in New England.  If you would like Christian music to be played at your event, just let us know when you book us to make sure that music collection will be ready and available on your date.

We customize the music for every event and do not use preset playlists. We always provide a professional sound system for every event. If volume is a concern, let us know and we'll keep it low or turn it up. We will arrive at your event in Southern New Hampshire, Maine or Eastern and Central Massachusetts to DJ, about one hour early to set up.
